1999 ITF US Finals Weekend Going for Sta(r)dom 09.26.99
The pictures you see here show Relm at home preparing for head-to-head clashes first with Perseus, and if he made it, then against Remedy or Impereal. Swift Rock was also hanging out briefly before his trip to Calgary. And where was Doc Rice a few hours right before ITF? Seems like he was enjoying the sun and bikinis at Santa Cruz beach and riding the rollercoasters. Unfortunately, we don't have any photos shot during the ITF battle (Maritime had a somewhat unfriendly policy regarding cameras for this event). But here are some shots outside the venue right after the battle. Relm was decided over Perseus, then over Remedy (after a third, one-minute round for a tie breaker). And he was given the championship title over Mike C as supporters cheered on with banners (one of those banners is shown here held by Relm himself after the battle). We also got to hang out with DJs Shin and H who were making a brief stop in the Bay Area after their team competition representing Japan at the DMC World Finals a week earlier. (Please excuse some of the fuzzy pictures - our photographer had a bit of that Hand Shake Syndrome; must be them Chasey Lain rentals he wanted to get back to...)
