Over the last few years, the battle scene has branched into import car shows. One of the most common in Southern California is the Turntable Showoff.

The top 2 pictures show Streak in the San Diego Turntable Showoff during late November of '98. He was accompanied by Swift Rock and Relm in the drive down from the Bay. He qualified to the top 8 and represented lovely. Although he didn't make it to the final 4, he sure had a crowd that cheered for him.

Deus had also qualified for the "grand finals" Turntable Showoff in Import Showoff EXC in Anaheim by placing first in the Santa Clara battle (at that time, the battle was sponsored by Rap Pages Magazine). He is seen here in these pictures after the battle carrying the EXC champion title trophy. From what was witnessed, it was definitely a close battle as it is rumored that the judges were extremely close to going either way (one judge couldn't decide).

We think Deus' closet is full enough of trophies and he just needs to stop winning these things.
