1998 St. Augustine Culture Awareness/ CUF Looking Back at the Rest of the Year the.rest.of.98
Just kidding. These pictures are, after all, from his own photo album. Most of these are from the St. Augustine Culture Awareness Talent Showcase (held annually) in Daly City and featured Shortkut spinning the breaks, a turntable band routine by Relm, Streak, and Swift Rock, and an individual performance by Deus. Q and Yoga Frog were also in the house... I think they were selling their old, used Vivid flicks. As for the last picture, the Sacramento North-Star Zulu Nation threw an event for hip-hop lovers that featured hip-hop MCs like the CUF, and also featured Deus. The event was geared towards more awareness of the various elements of hip hop, including guest appearances by graff writers and b-boys.
