Quite frankly, this had to be one of the longest battles we ever participated in, period. Music Systems in Redwood City, CA annually throws a "Battle of the Bay," so to speak, with 4 separate divisions, including San Francisco, East Bay, South Bay, and Peninsula.

As the East Bay was the first division, Doc Rice made the top two placement and qualified for the Grand Finals. Swift Rock also made second in the South Bay. Deus and Relm entered the San Francisco division, and although Deus didn't qualify for the finals, Relm placed runner-up against VinRoc, fresh out of Jersey (first time we battled him, by the way). Streak entered the Peninsula division and (yep, you guessed it) came in second place.

But with 4 members in the Grand Finals, Sta was not to be let down as one of the most grueling battles ever witnessed blessed us with Swift Rock climbing his way to the top, beating out Badrok by a hair margin. Relm placed third on this one.

After the ordeal, we were just too happy that it was over. Who cared who won. This battle was exhausting...
